Dylan Ehler was born in April of 2017. His family lives in a small village just outside Truro, Nova Scotia. Dylan has always been an outgoing child. A boy that loves playing outside in the dirt, or just exploring the world around him, one of Dylans favorite things is to run; so much so that he is a child that uses a harness while out in public for his own safety. Aside from being outside every chance he could get, some of Dylans favorite things are climbing, dinosaurs, trucks and playing with his sister. Dylan is classified as a late talker and was beginning speech therapy in early 2020.

On May 6, 2020, Dylan was dropped off to visit his grandmother for a few hours between 10:30-11:00AM, while his mom went for coffee with a friend. Dylans grandmother was planning on taking Dylan outside to play with her puppy for his visit. She was instructed to put Dylans harness on to ensure his safety.

Dylan was last seen at 1:15PM on the afternoon of May 6 while law enforcement was called at 1:24PM and arriving at 1:28PM. No sign of Dylan has been seen since (aside from his rubber boots that were found submerged in Lepper Brook, one at 7PM and one at 9PM)

Where did Dylan go?
There are several directions that Dylan could have travelled on May 6. It is unclear which direction he went because proper blocks and protocols were not followed. Roads were left open and the public was not stopped from entering the immediate area, destroying potential evidence at the scene.

Dylan could have went straight down Elizabeth Street. This street is a dead end and leads directly to Lepper Brook.

Dylan could have went out to Elizabeth Street, making a turn around the fence to go in between the houses. There is a deer trail in the brush and trees that leads to Lepper Brook.

Dylan could have went to the end of Elizabeth Street and turned right onto Queen Street which, is generally a busy street.
Dylan turning right onto Queen Street leads to the train yard on the left and Lepper Brook on the right. Going straight leads to downtown Truro.
